I have over 13 years of experience working with children and families across various settings. Throughout my career, I have been involved in quality improvement projects and collaborated with universities to develop early years practices. My passions include behaviour development, language development, and outdoor play, as I believe in giving children the freedom to explore and develop their own ideas. Working at Victoria Nursery is a privilege, surrounded by a dedicated and supportive team. As both a manager and a parent, I appreciate the warm and nurturing environment we provide every day.

I have over 25 years of experience in Early Years education and have worked with a variety of age groups, supporting children with diverse needs. My passion lies in creating a warm, home-like environment where children feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. I love helping children grow, learn, and thrive in their early years. Currently, I split my time between Victoria Nursery and Cornerhouse Nursery, offering support wherever needed. It is a privilege to be part of such a dedicated and caring team.

Since joining Victoria Nursery I have worked across all rooms and age groups, gaining valuable experience throughout my time at the nursery. Over the years, I have developed my skills and knowledge, which has led to my role as Deputy Manager. Victoria Nursery has a wonderful, family-like atmosphere, and I love being part of such a supportive team. I look forward to continuing my journey here and making a lasting impact.

With over 24 years at Victoria Nursery, I have had the opportunity to work in all rooms, gaining experience with every age group. I am currently based in Baby Bears, where I love helping babies and their families settle into nursery life. I am also the Health and Safety Officer, ensuring a secure environment for all. The nursery is like a big family, and I feel lucky to work alongside such a supportive team. Seeing the children grow and develop each day makes my role incredibly rewarding.

Since joining as an apprentice, I have worked my way up to becoming a Senior Practitioner and the Behaviour Coordinator. I currently work in Little Bears 2, where I enjoy supporting children as they develop independence and early friendships. My focus is on promoting positive behaviour strategies, helping children manage their emotions and interactions. I work closely with staff and families to create a nurturing and consistent approach. Victoria Nursery feels like a second home, and I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else!

I am passionate about outdoor education and have loved introducing Forest School at Victoria Nursery. I enjoy creating opportunities for children to explore nature, take risks, and build confidence in an outdoor setting. I work in Big Bears, supporting our oldest children as they develop independence and prepare for school. Seeing their curiosity and resilience grow through hands-on learning is incredibly rewarding. It’s wonderful to work in a nursery that embraces outdoor learning so wholeheartedly.
